Sweetwater Brewery (ATL) and Sam Adams (BOS) made a bet on the Super Bowl. The brewer w/ the losing team has to work as an intern in the other's brewery & rename a beer after winning team!

I find these kinds of bets, as the ones between mayors of competing cities, to be inane.

Absolutely. Recently the mayor of Seattle had to hang the Falcon flag from his capital. Harmless.

This is just a couple of microbrews trying to drum up a little free PR. Why not? Ill bet anybody just about anything if it gets me national exposure

I was at a bash next to Sweetwater HQ just last week. The family of a college buddy owns and runs the company.
