I got the 1st available set, The Kettentrad with Para crew and base. All I can say, is I am very pleased. Far better sculpts, paint, terrain, vehicle, everything is very sweet. A bit more than I really like or should be paying for toys, but upon arrival I am very pleased.Figures are a perfect match for the ONWTC figures{ Yes, I know Ken Osens work for both} and just a splendid vignette. My 2cents.

Fubar,

Agreed, it's fantastic and Richard Walker and Britains are definitely on the right track.

Best of luck to them,

Carlos

That is one set I will probably get- well more then just that set. Fubar-- I remember when you would only do figures up to the musket era. Leadmen

Leadmen, Well at least metals , yes you are right. But I did start collecting metal WW2 last winter as I found bargains, trades , whatever.I did only plastics and plastic conversions, with an IR or Valiant kit here and there.
Yes, the discipline fails once in a while.Hold the line as long as you can then cave.Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'll get the new Britains Germans for sure. The m8 looks great and if the quality is as good as the Kettentrad then it should be a real gem.

I got the Kettenkrad set today and am very happy with it. It's a birthday present from my wife but a few days early cause we'll be on holiday for the actual day.

Its a great set. The terrain base really adds a special touch. The figures are also of a high standard. the painting of the FJ jump smocks is spot on. The green base colour is exactly right!

At last someone has got splinter camo just right. I also have the ONWTC FJ's but the Britains camo is better.

On a final note I'm going to mention the packaging. Top quality.
3 layers of soft black foam. Everything held in place perfectly. Not a scratch or missing paintwork anywhere. Best of all no sign of any cheap plastic ties anywhere. (ssshhh don't tell the K&C forum.) :)

Better watch out Eazy you could get in trouble with the K&C purists out there;)

Yeah, be careful Easy. Comments like those might get you black listed. K&C could wrap their figures and vehicles in barbed wire and package it in an old lunch bag and there'd still be those saying they were doing us a favor trying to keep the cost down.

I am one of those K&C fans who happen to agree with Easy. K&C sets the standard for 1:30 figures and AFV's but Britains sets the packaging standard.

Hi Michael,

I would also agree with you guys becuase I have seen other companies packing which was inferior to the care taken by Britains but you still run the risk of being burned at the stake as heretics  so be careful about what you say about the K&C stuff.

Have a great day

You guys are funny.............. after you take a little break form the Forum and you look back on it you realize that this is about toys, and yet people can get really bent out of shape about....What?....Toys.....Say what you feel, the manufacturers need you more than you need them, and there is no one on this Forum who is the definitive God of Toydom, who might smite you down, should they disagree with you....Alex

Oh Fred you silly boy!

Glad to see that some has a sense of humor! LOL!:D
