Bren Gun broken :-( (1 Viewer)

I have K&C D Day bren gun carrier and the end of the gunners bren gun is missing - snapped off after the tripod mount.....about 1/2" of barrel and the foresight. Any ideas? Anyone have a spare bren gun?

A piece of brass tubing could stand in for the barrel, with a pin fitted to the tubing and into a hole drilled in the stump of the cast barrell, glued with CA glue.

Replacement sounds a bit easier than repair as I'd probably end up soldering the gunner to my thumb.
