Hi all, no this isn't a new set from First Legion but a oldie but goodie from Britains, I have always enjoyed this set but the painting just wasn't up to par with my FL sets, so Kilted Vampire (Michael) did a outstanding job in repainting the entire set for me and the detail in his work here speaks for itself!! the First Legion camo colors are not the easiest in the world to match and he did a Hell of a job with all of them ,thanks again Kilt!!...Sammy

Sammy, is the PaK 40 one piece or does are the carriage and gun/gunshield separate like the TGM PaK 40?

Figures look like they blend well I've considered doing this myself.

Hi Hunter, the Pak 40 comes complete, no seperation of any of the pieces which I like, really is a nice set and glad I took the chance on this set...Sammy

The new W. Britains 88 will go very well with First Legion figures IMO.

It's great when you can combine the best from different manufacturers to produce an outstanding display. Robin.

Would it not be wonderful if all Toy Soldier manufacturers built figures to the same standard size?
60 mm would be just about right IMO. WB and FL can do it; why not all the manufacturers i.e. TCS, K&C, TG et. al.

I'm afraid none of the companies mentioned above work hand in hand, K&C/TG are pretty close to it overall, but as far as Britains/First Legion it's a crap shoot, I have bought some Britains sets that work ok with First Legion and some that are not even close, so I advise anyone if you're going to mix/match, better do your research, make a call or two or if you are lucky enough to live near a toy soldier brick and mortar store to see hand in hand, I remember Matt saying something like each company is happy with their own scale version, they aren't in the business to merry up their size to fit with some other brand, be it style, painting, or dare I say...scale :wink2:...Sammy

Any chance we can get some more pics of the crew and gun taken closer up and maybe from the front and side rather than overhead?

I'm thinking of getting the crew to pair with my TGM PaK 40.
