Well well well. I have dropped off buying WB as I have enough AZW, ACW and War along the Nile stuff. Would still like to get some more WW1 but Thomas Gunn got me hooked into their range.

Loved the Conte stuff so although not WB its certainly of more interest than posting this on the Conte thread.

The thrill of displaying a viking longboat about to raid a Saxon village in Dark Age Britain around 850 to 950 AD. I have commissioned a load of Hastings figures from 1066 which are currently being painted so should be in the shield wall soon. Might be nice to add a few WB figures are the range has not been extensively covered.

not sure WB could do a longboat and keep the price reasonable though.

Enjoy

Gary

She's a beaut Gary. I am still looking forward to the second half of the year when Britain's releases the mounted Zulu figures. Robin.

Yep I will probably go for the AZW mounted figures as well. I would like to get some more WW1 stuff but Thomas Gunn planes and figures are preventing me financially at the moment from getting much WB stuff. And a pricy 5 week hols in Australia where we are flying our kids out from the UK and meeting up in Sydney before we cover a lot of ground around Aus is also curtailing the toy soldier funds!

No rest for the wicked it seems, a lot going on in your life. One good thing the Britain's releases are far and few between. The TG on the other hand are the problem, supposedly limited availability and of course monthly, so can be relentless. Luckily at this time there is only a few TG I collect, the Aussie/Japanese and the Zulu (SFA series). K&C & JJD are currently my money spenders, not to mention diorama pieces which usually are expensive. Your Vikings range is fairly decent, you must miss Conte. Had a line on their Roman boat a couple of years ago, but seller went cold, so I lost interest. Had fun all morning setting up diorama's to display on my thread for the next 2 weeks. Four weeks until Andy/Gordon visit to Adelaide. Robin.

great village raid dio Gary.
once again a terrific range of buildings in your dioramas. always the case.
