Hi, I am new to the forums. As an ex Australian Army Soldier and Officer I couldn't find enough ANZAC figures, those I could find didn't work well together in dioramas. I started designing and generally recasting to make a range of figures I liked which could also complement my existing old hollowcasts from britains. I will attach a few pics to a new thread on this forum. I made ambulances for the Anzacs, gun crews, Camel corps and of course Turkish clavalry and Infantry.

Let me know what you think. I sold a few sets on ebay but never really pursued it as I found people paying me around US$20-40 a figure and I felt guilty as they are really only homecasts. I like to see the hobby perpetuate not degenerate due to prices.

Have a look at these specimens and let me know, I have dozens more types.

Hi BustedVet,

Your figures are very, very nicely done! After examining your pictures, I believe the prices people paid for your figures are not out of line. May we see more of your fine work?

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

I like them. Do you have a website with all the photos of your sets?

I concur. those figures shown are excellent toy soldiers that look like they should come in a Britains ROAN box

Hi Busted vet

Very very good looking sets! You should continue to make and sell them there arent enough Anzac sets out there. Thanks for sharing.

All the best

Dave

Also, thanks for sharing. I agree -- not enough Anzac sets availale -- especially of this quality.
