Hello All,
Once again The History Store in Chillicothe, Ohio is hosting a "Meet the Artist" William Britain / Hudson & Allen Studio Event this coming weekend, December 11 & 12, 2010 at their store and art gallery. If you have never been to Chillicothe it is a charming old town in southern Ohio. It has great early 19th century architecture and brims over with history as Ohio's first Capital city.
The event itself will feature Ken Osen, W. Britains master sculptor and owner of Hudson & Allen Studio, who will have hands-on scenic workshops and a presentation about the War of 1812 and it's place in popular culture. He will also be on hand to answer your questions about how W.Britain figures are made and what plans Britains has for 2011. Everything will take place at The History Store (www.history-store.net) in it's new, larger location at 99 North Paint Street, Chillicothe, Ohio. The History Store has something for everyone, kids most definitely included.
