Hi, everyone! Calling all Britains fans, can you tell if this figure is a Britains figure, or a homecast made from a Prins August mold:

I've PM'd the seller to ask if there are any markings on the figure, such as on the underside of the base. It really looks like a homecast to me, but since I don't collect Britains modern cavalry figures, I've never really handled one and it's outside my area.

But the base looks thick, and looks reminiscent of the standard PA base. The whole figure just looks a little too crude in the pictures, to be a Britains factory figure.

I certainly can be wrong, though.

Prost!

Thanks, the seller responded, too, to confirm for me that the base is marked with Britains mark. My eyes must be going. But there was something about the picture that didn't look right.

One sign that I see now is the horse's rear right foot, the way it's sculpted. That's a holdover from the original version without a base, isn't it? It's sculpted in such a way to help support the figure from that side, yet look like the horse is in midstep.

Thanks for clearing that up!

Prosit!
Brad
