Popped over to the shop, sure enough, although only one of the Pipers sports a banner from his bass drone, all appear to be wearing Pipe Major's chevrons (4)-Look very nice though, frankly prefer the OTSN pics from desk11desk12.ob (I may be delusional or quibbling but the notion of Eight guys slapping one smartly in the back yelling "Steady up !" is daunting)

 Wow!!! The band just looks even better in these photos!!! I think they will sell out pretty quickly im glad i pre ordered mine yesterday hehe :D The only thing i think is missing is a marching officer with sword drawn??? maybe a later addition for next year along with a mounted officer

Once again as in the past Carlos thanks for the time and effort you've taken in providing and sharing your photos throughout the forum and a special thanks for the ZW photos you've made my day. Picked out a number of goodies headed our way in 2009 and can't wait for them to be added to my Land of The Zulu. Thanks Richard and Ken for also making the Lt.'s day.

The band looks...ASTONISHING! Too bad I don´t collect bands ( on second thoughts, thank God I don't collect bands! ).

I just noticed they've got the ModelZone exclusive set included in this excellent looking display. Thanks for all of the great photos, Carlos.

No,really...8 Pipe Majors ! I may not only be quibbling, but obsessive compulsive-I hope to be in error, perhaps learn that The Q.O.C.H. Pipes and Drums insignia was singular in this regard or the pipes complement was in fact composed at this time completely of Pipe Majors.I hope I may presume to speak for hordes of anonymous muttering quibblers crippled with timidity, good manners or better sense, and ask "So,what gives with all the Pipe Majors ?"ob

Hi Guys:

Long story short - photography error in the catalog and on the figures we had rush painted for the show (used them for catalog shot too - unfortunately). Actual production is fine - one pipe major and rest are pipers - with no chevrons. Sorry for confusion.

Thanks,

Richard

:D:D:D Thanks ever so much-I may now avoid driving myself mad over this-which would be silly ,as it's only a short walk ;) Those feather bonnets look AMAZINGLY like feather bonnets :eek:Brilliant work Gentlemen:Dob

Lucky Me! I was able to get up close and eyeball to eyeball with the Pipes and drums of the Camerons'. It is truly a marvolous set great sculpting and paint quality. (as per usual with Britains.)
I will definately purchase one and have already preordered one.
O.C.:D

We are working on a single piece for next year - with all that is going on - this one just did not make it in time for the catalog and initial offering.
