Britains set 73 comprised soldiers from 7 different British regiments: including the Black Watch, Norfolk regiment and the Band of the Line: 1 - black watch.JPG

Can't forget the box -- the white carboard is there merely to protect the original box and tie cards from wear and tear.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for sharing this with us. You dont often get a chance to see a set 73 in its boxed format. Its amazing!

All the best

Dave

As you robably noticed -- there are two set 73's displayed. The first 8 photos and the box are of my set. The 10th is of a second set - owned by another collector.

Beautiful set, the figures look almost mint and the box looks in excellent condition. I have the 9000 series box that replaced 73, but unfortunately it didn't come with the figures :(

The figures are near mint -- because even though there are no scratches, chips, etc, they have been untied from the box. Now, however, they are all re-tied into the box and placed in a cabinet away from the reach of a cat and two little grandsons.

It's not just one thing -- it was a whole mess of these little green things, which you fold and place in your wallet.

The way things are going, however, I could trade the set for a few gallons of gas.

Hey Richard

Let me know where to send the gas...

Thats really a fantastic set!

All the best

Dave

Echo Dave's and everybody's sentiments. Keeping out of those grandkids is the key. That's a set to be treasured and enjoyed.
