Hello,
I always wanted to purchase a few of these but wondering first what you guys opinion are on them.

They are excellent (the ones produced by First Gear), the details are nice, the faces look almost real, and are very good for the cost.

I'll second that, the British infantry are superb, as are the Germans, although tough to find from what I can gather..........

A lot of Britains recent stuff was done by Ken Osen, who also did ONTC and some of the Conte figures. I am quite happy with the stuff I have gotten so far. Plus, I'm still looking to acquire a couple more, like the M8 armored car.

Hi There!
I thought you should know that W. Britain will have new WWII figures to add to the range in the 2009 catalog. Most of them are sculpted and painted already with a few more on our list. I cannot tell you exactly what they are as of yet, but they will fill in gaps in what we have already released.
Thanks for the kind comments!

Here are a couple of images of a few WWII figures produced By 1st Gear. I sculpted these back to back with the WWII figures released by ONWTC, so they dovetail quite nicely. The production values on the 1st Gear/W.Britain figures are really very good.
The previous posting shows a fair number of pre 2006, RC2 produced figures such as the British Paras and the 8th army figures. The Set of British infantry in temperate clothing are 1st Gear products.

These figures are pictured on one of the Hudson & Allen scenic bases.

Here is another image of some of the Heer figures from W. Britain under 1st Gear ownership. The first releases included Additional German troops such as Waffen SS, Fallschirmjager and Felddivision. There will be additions in the 2009 catalog to these troops.

Those are very impressive figures. Where do you find 1st gear figures and how are they affiliated with WB?

Ok duh, so these are simply additions to the WB line then. Goes to show how much I know about WWII figures but I can observe that these are quite nice.;)

I would believe so. I think 1st Gear itself focuses more on vehicles, like trucks, cars etc...

Have been collecting all the WW2 W,britains for the last 5 years, some of the early stuff was really great, and they have really come to speed over the last year or so. Well done. Ken am i right in saying that some of the early 2000 pieces you were envolved. if so which ones
