Re: Britians WWI

Hi new to the forum and sharing a small fraction of my collection....These are Britains Matte WWI figures.

Welcome to the Forum. Nice collection. Are you adding any of the K&C or Frontline WWI as well or are you strictly a Britains collector?

Check out the Treefrog Resources on WWI:http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/reference/ttmmrmilhistWWI.html
Let me know if you have any suggestions for additions to it. I put the Resource pages together for TF.

I posted a dio using the current extent of my Britains WWI figures:

My collection is eclectic and so I have examples from different periods and wars. I do plan to add some of the Britains WWI Highlanders.
I do have one of the K&C new WWI Highlanders that I posted on this thread:

Those are really cool figures. I am glad to see the glossy premier stuff still has a prominent place on your shelves. Thanks for posting.

Randy,
This shelf is going to be strictly Britains WWI...in another post, you can see a Frontline WWI mounted soldiers with pike. Frontline makes nice pieces, I have just not started to pick them up yet.....My interests are Zulu War in traditonal gloss, Boxer Rebellion traditional gloss, WWI and WWII. I try and stay around 54mm, so I collect the following manufacturers....Britains, Steadfast, Conte, Trophy, Frontline, Pickelhaube, Imperial, etc....I stay away from the 60mm stuff like K&C and Honour Bound...Hope this answers your question...The majority of my collection is packed away, and I rotate out the shelves with different pieces and eras....

You have a great collection. I look forward to posts of the Trophy stuff in you collection.

Hi Builtrite,

Welcome to the Treefrog Forum. You have a wonderful Britains WW I collection! I look forward to seeing more of your glossy collection. I am certain there are many more members who want to see it as well.

Enjoy the forum. Visit frequently and post often. I look forward to talking with you!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Hi Builtrite,

Thats a very nice display How about some pictures of the other shelves. I think you have a great WWI display there. Looking forward to chatting with you some more.

All the best

Dave

Ah yes, now I remember seeing this post. That certainly is a nice WWI collection with some multiples even. I also spy some Premier sets down below. When you have a chance, please post some photos of those too. I am curious if you have checked out any of the Old Northwest sets yet? I believe Ken did some sculpting on at least some of those too.

Receive this stuff this morning:

These look very nice and the cavalry piece is quite unusual. Congrats and merci for posting this nice photo.

Au revoir,
Paulo

Très beau, j'aime beaucoup la mitrailleuse. Are they attach together, and how solid it is?

Mitrailleuse et mitrailleur sont fixés au socle qui semble être en résine. Le servant est à part.

Machine-gun and machine gunner are fixed on the base, which seems be in resin. The provider is separately.
