I saw on ebay some Britians Deetail Rough Rider figures. When did they come out with these? Do they have Spanish also?

These are made from molds in Argentina. He does nice work. Lots of variations on the figures.

Jay was right. I don't know where they stand on the licensing of these. In my mind they are not Britains, they are copies.

Hi Guys,
New to the forum ,although I have been watching it for awhile.

The figures that are for sale on Ebay are NOT Britains Deetail ,it's just that the guy selling them wants to make more money. I thought that collectors on here would know that.:)

These figures are new production Britains Herald designed figures made from old ORIGINAL moulds by a company called DSG in Argentina. As far as I am aware there is no licensing probelms with them producing these figures as THEY own the moulds and the rights to them, having bought them from the original William Britians company in the 1980's, years before the U.S. companies bought what was left of the company.

They could be called re-issues but they are NOT copies, being from original moulds. I don't think the company advertises them as Britains figures.

Just thought this issue needed clarification. They have been on the market for quite some time, so it is a surprise to me that some collectors have never heard of them.

Best Regards,
Dave M
