Yet another company has released a set of cavalry figures with fancy embellishments on the arms of the trumpeter. Let it be made clear, in September 1811 an Army order decreed that trumpeters should be uniformed the same as the troopers.While the old uniforms were being worn the embellishments would have continued, but with the adoption of the new uniforms in 1812 this order would have come into effect.
