Hi All,
I've searched the net and some books for description of the Colours (Royal and Regimental) borne by the 3 Guards Regiment in Crimea but without much success.
So I decided to rebuild them from detailled written description found in 'Crimean Uniforms - British Infantry by Michael Barthop - 1974'.
Below are the description for the Coldstream Guards and the drawings I made (picking parts of flags from other period).
Thanks for your comments so I can be sure they are accurate, or can modify them.

Michel

Coldstream Royal Colour : In centre, Imperial Crown over Star of Order of the Garter

Coldstream Regimental Colour : Under Imperial Crown, badge of the 13th company; ‘a Rose gules, surmounted by another argent, barbed and seeded proper, empaled with a pomegranate, or, stalked also proper’ ; roman XIII in gold in dexter canton

PS: I will post Scots Fusiliers and Grenadiers guards later.

I am certainly no expert, my limited knowledge comes from the standard bearers produced by the various toy soldier manufacturers, but your colors look right on to me. David Cowe from Imperial really does his research, and your Crimean Coldstream Guards colors look just like his. Well done.

Great Trooper !
I had the Royal Colours from the Osprey book had to 'rebuilt' the regimental colour.
As you can see I misplaced the battle honours and the 'lion' was of the wrong colour. I will use yours as model !
Thanks a lot.
Michel

Thanks for the feedback Louis !
It helps a lot.
I will now post the Grenadiers Guards ones.
Cheers
Michel

And last the Grenadier Guards Colours :

- Royal Colour : In centre, Imperial Crown over royal Cipher, reversed and interlaced, with grenade below; in dexter canton, small Union, with pile wavy issuing toward centre

- Regimental Colour : Under Imperial Crown, Badge of 3rd Company, a fleur-de-lys, the royal Badge of King Henry V; below badge, grenade; roman III in Gold in dexter canton

Again your feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Michel
