Yesterday I bought a tracked grass mat from John Gittins.
I also came home with the Dingo and a couple of the new British figures.
Today I've been having fun arranging them along with some older stuff.

I'm really impressed with these new British releases. The figures are especially good with some interesting variations. Are they on your list Rob?

They are so good aren't they James. They have gone to the top of the list since I saw them yesterday and will start with a couple tomorrow, should have gone back in earlier and got them!:rolleyes2:

James, just love these releases, couldn't get the Churchill or Tilly on there I'm afraid. You know you're going to get Dingo/ binoc guy don't you!

DISCLAIMER!; This is NOT a diorama, just a scene I've put together compare purchases myself and James made in London yesterday.

Great stuff Rob - that Humber looks so good. For me the Brits in Normandy collection is one of K&C's best. Somehow it just has that cool factor!

As for the Dingo commander - you know i'll get him eventually. Hey you know i even got the Bagpiper eventually from the last wave of Commonwealth Normandy releases.
I even got that sign post!

Thanks James, the Humber really is good isn't it, goes nicely with the Staghound I think. Knew I'd forgotten something, should have put that dispatch rider with it too! Still really like my Arnhem collection, but these days for me D Day and RAF ranges are my personal faves^&cool{bravo}}

Rob

I missed out on the despatch rider - that was a really good set.
I agree about Arnhem - it has had no new releases for over 2 years and seems to have died a death.
I think a few new releases would rekindle our enthusiasm!

Great pic's James and Rob. Im also slowly getting my Brit DD collection together although with space limitations in my cabinets i had to create two separate displays! Here's a few pic's of my DD and MG collection so far and im sorry about the glass reflection on the shots.

A good way to put it, as far as WW2 goes the most interesting visual subject behind any WW2 Germans. I think the Firefly is what ties it together, the series would have legs but I think K&C is going to have go keep a Firefly available the way they keep Tigers & Panthers available. Great pics guys

Very nice collection Rob , look like we have the same taste mate , just picked up the Humber this week to go with the rest of my DD collection . Really like new dd stuff that came out this year

Yes its a really good one, he's going to see plenty of service in the coming years in a dio or two. Hopefully some Arnhem might be in the pipeline, fingers crossed, you know don't you James as soon as we get some we'll be saying ' Arnhem is my favourite range now ' ! So funny re the Dingo binoc guy and I find it happens all the time with K&C. At first you think ' yeah he's ok but have other figures to get first' and then you think ' well, he's growing on me a bit ' and then you say to me ' what do you think of him Rob' and in the space of a sixpence I've changed my mind totally and am on the phone to Mike to order him!^&grin

Got to love this hobby haven't you^&cool

Thanks Rob, the Figarti 5.5" gun (dare i say it in a K&C thread) is one of my favourite sets. Hopefully Andy will bring out a Normandy 25 pounder in the not to distant future so i can create an artillery battery! {sm3}

Tom

Tom, well it looks terrific mate, I know quite a bit of Figarti goes nicely with K&C but what you've done there works extremely well, such a great collection there my friend, you must be very proud of it. Yep any Brit / Commonwealth artillery would be very welcome{bravo}}
