British Outpost in N. Africa (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

After seeing Andrew's wonderful RAF Mingaladon Burma Diorama, it inspired me to break out some of my British 8th to set up a little scene. Back in the desert of N. Africa, the British 8th are resting between raids on Rommel. I plan to add some RAF in the near future.

Oh ya' I remember this series that you presented a while back.

My favorite theme in fact. Really like both the British 8th and Afrikakorps; one day hoping that Andy will offer some Americans as part of Operation Torch.

I've made several dioramas with some of the same pieces, always modifying slightly. I have more of the Desert Village buildings but they are in a curio and a bit tricky to remove behind vehicles and figures. Some of the British 8th scenes:

You spotted them, Larry. Sneaky Arabs ready to cause trouble. I had to purchase a second one because of the excellent detailing.
