Hello Andy
Iwas just wondering if you would be doing a figure of Patrick Gifford from Castle Douglas ,he was killed in action over Belguim in MAY 1940 ,He was the pilot who shot down the first enemy bomber to be destoyed in British airspace
Regards Scott

Good idea Scott:cool:.

Can I also put in a word for Bob Stanford Tuck,Hurricane and Spitfire pilot who had a total of 27 kills by the wars end.(seven of these and four probables in a Hurricane)This included a Dornier DO17 that he chased and shot down seventeen miles off the coast, his engine damaged by return fire he had to glide the Spitfire all the way home for a crash landing. His final kills in the Battle of Britain were two probables ME109's on the 28th October.

He was shot down in 1942 and captured and after other attempts finally escaped from a camp in Poland and eventually made it home.

He also suffered a most terrible piece of ill luck.On one occasion he fired at extreme range at a German bomber heading for Cardiff. The Bomber crew panicked dropped its bombs anywhere and legged it for home, the last of the bombs fell on the corner of an army camp killing one soldier, that soldier happened to be the husband of his sister.

He died in May 1987.

This man was a true hero,a prolific ace and one of 'the Few' who saved Great Britain, would love to have a figure of him in my collection:cool:
