If anyone has received their British sets SB002, SRR001 or the Christmas set I would love to see photos beyond the advertising ones? I see that the Christmas set is sold out at TF and Sierra.

Hi Randy,

Thank you for the photos. These are on my list to Santa and I just wanted to get a sneak peek of the real thing.

I received all the new sets today from George. Wow this fun like toy soldier collecting should be.

Combat

Glad you got the figures. I have to wait until 12/25 for my fun.

Combat,
I have to say that it's entirely due to your posts that I have began to take a very real interest in the FIW (and also AWI). I'm sure that my bank manager shall be sending you some commissioning fees.....:D:D
Only kidding of course.
Seriously, I do think that these JJ figures are absolutely excellent.
All we need to do now is convince one of the manufacturers that the TW would be a good bet.
Best Regards

Harry -

TW? Once you explain it to me it'll be very obvious I'm sure...

Hi,

Just got back from London where I picked up the four British BOS sets and also saw for the first time the new 1812 series which starts next year. The figures if I remember what John said was of a Canadian Regiment and they looked fantastic. I'm sure your see photos soon as I was late up today and forgot the camera. Sorry....

Thank you for the picture. Looks like Syracuse will be getting snow this weekend:eek: so the snowshoers arrived just in time.

UK BOD,

Thanks for the update on the show.

If I read your comments right, John's new series for next year is 1812 American War of Independence starting with a Canadian Regiment. That leaves the door wide open for a lot more different sets to come.

Has anyone else got some news for us?

What about the civilian sets from the last show anymore on them?

What about the rest of the Snowshoe Series. Any news?

Any news on a Montcalm release?

Aussie Monty :)

Aussie Monty,

According to John there should be a BOS release every month, with the 1812 starting from Feb. The Montcalm figure was excellent and I believe it should also be out for Feb.

The Jan BOS release is the Cpl and Sgt 27 Regt in winter coats, which I was able to pick up in London. As always nice figures.
