sorry the new model army,.... and a good price

Yes I know things can change but last year in Chicago Andy said no to the Sturm-Tiger. He just didn't like the tank, personal opinion of his. Advantage of being the owner of the company was his other statement..

Just grab the NMA one. Its the same scale, looks compatable with K&C products, and will work just as well if Andy doesn't plan to make one.

Personally, I plan on buying the Honour Bound Bergepanther and German Field Kitchen sets, because I don't believe K&C will make these items.

I saw the NMA sturntigers in London and I think someone posted photos - they are OK in my opinion but not as good as KC or the HB panthers so I am with Louis - except that just for now I think HB are better in many ways than KC for tracked vehicles (based on the one sample of the panther).

I would like a Brummbar (pz4 chassis with 150 SIG infantry gun in a fully armoured vehicle) however, as it is one of my favourite peices. As a feeling at this stage, I would hope HB do it, they are that good, but I expect that Andy will raise the standard again - I still collect all the KC stuff and they are still tops for figures and wheeled vehicles for me.

Yep i agree with you guys.I also saw the Sturmtigers in London and thought they would go nicely with my K&C.And i don't say that lightly, as anything that is going to sit alongside Andy's stuff in my armour collection has got to look good.So slightly deviating from this thread i have a question for you guys.Do you think the winter HB Panther will also "work" next to KC's winter Tiger/Grille?.

Rob.

It would be great if you guys put just little info in the Profile section. At least the country you live. It think it make this forum more interesting.
Well at least it would for me. This sort of my connection to world with the subject I love. Not many people I know around here want to talk about or look at toy soldiers.

Dear Rob

I think the winter stuff will work together to some degree, although I have said before that the KC winter painting looks 'too professional' for me given that often, especially early in the war, they didn't even have white paint and used whitewash. The HB stuff again sets the bar for me in terms of accuracy and paint job.:)

I have to say I did not particularly like the winter scheme on the NMA sturmtiger, although the model is generally OK, but as there were so few of them built and it was such a stupid idea, 300+cm naval mortar with ridiculously low rate of fire - what is the point? - I can't easily think of how a diorama would look. Haven't decided yet on the NMA recon one way or the other.

More winter trucks, jeeps and light flak - summer and winter - would be good from KC. I have no doubt at all though that Andy will raise the game yet again.:D

Yes i think you have a good point there mate.Would be difficult to think of a good dio with them all in.Maybe you could have the sturmtiger on the side of the road with other vehicles passing etc.But i think i will stick to just having it in my cabinets alongside kc.As you said the Sturmtiger must have been of limited use. From my very limited knowledge of these things i thought they were meant to trundle up to some obstacle building/strongpoint and lob this large shell at it.I can imagine the need in say Russia for instance, but can't imagine there was much call for them in Normandy.

Again as you said i am sure Andy will raise the bar and give us some more allied winter vehicles at some ponit.Would love a winter jeep or supply truck. He has this knack of coming up with stuff so evocative of the battle he's depicting.

As for honour bound i like the look of the Winter Panthers but am not convinced about their crews yet. Will check them out at the show in London this December. If i can tear myself away from the K&C stuff!

I just wanted stir things obout the profile. Thank you Louis & N-P.

Many years ago this part of this country was the Cherokee Nation. The Trail of Tears put most them to west of the Miss. River and to Oklahoma. The
Cherokee Nation was made up of many different tribes. They cover most of the southeast US E. of the Miss. River to the East Cost South to FL & Gulf coast. Some of the tribes were the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw & others I can't recall at this time. My great grandfather was as Confederate soldier his wife great grandmother was Chickasaw. He fought at Shiloh (@ 12 year old) this was not unusual. He lived to see the end of WWII

I'm named after him.

Have you seen a HB Panther yet Kev? I know you said you were going to sell their stuff here in the UK for them so maybe you can let us know when they will arrive here?
