Do you (or anyone else) have the BAR096 Destroyed Sherman Diorama (Winter)? I've gone and ordered it up on the strength of the photo that's in the TF Catalogue with a view to incorporating it into a larger scratch-built dio. Is it really as good as it looks? More to the point given my nationality , is it value for money?
I ought to get my hands on it next week, but I'd be interested in any responses prior to me seeing it in the flesh.

Thanks for the response Carlos. It certainly looks The Biz in the TF photos.
This has been an unusually long one. I left home on 22nd November, but I ought to be home again around 24th January. Gonna be busy during the 3.5 weeks I'll be home cos of the dioramas I have planned;
a) American Bulge
b) Flashman and the Dragon
c) AK dio
d) Crimean War dio
The good thing is I can be working on one while the paint, plaster, etc. is drying out on the others.
Shall be posting photos of the finished results in the Diorama Section throughout February.

Thanks Marc, like I say I want to incorporate it into a larger dio - and it certainly looks like a good starting point. Unfortunately, I found out yesterday that I'll only be home for around 2 weeks this time cos our Operations in Thailand need me back on 8th February , so I don't know if I'll get any of the planned new dios finished by the time I have to travel back to Bangkok. Guess I'll just have to see how it goes.
BUT, the good news (for me that is) , is that I also heard yesterday that my K&C UK order for the new Crimea Set + 2 duplicates from the 1st set has turned up at our S.China office. Hope the TF order turns up over the next few days as well. The even BETTER news is NO CHINESE CUSTOMS DUTY.....Yahoo....I was being charged an arm and a leg when I was having TS orders delivered to me in Dubai.
