Was wondering if any of you noticed the building in the background of the recent caption contest photo?

I did, so I contacted John to ask about it; is it a one off scratchbuild piece or something we'll be seeing as available at some point and here is what he told me; "It is a ruined Spanish farmhouse that will indeed be available at some point. Measures about 9 inches high, 6 inches wide, 3 inches deep and has detail on both sides so it can be displayed with either side facing forward, is a perfect shelf diorama piece.

He also told me more such terrain will be offered in the future for the SCW and the Peninsular Campaign, pretty exciting news IMO...........

Well spotted!
I like the idea of buildings for shelf dioramas. I display my figures etc in an IKEA Billy cabinet, and therefore full size buildings take up too much space. So a 3 inch depth is great for me.

Pete,

like you I have my collection in 4 x IKEA BILLY Bookcases and so facade buildings in the only way to go for me too!

I had been also told by John a few months back the Spanish Buildings would be coming, so they will be a great backdrop for my Napoleonics, and I'm eagerly awaiting the Luthen Church walls for my 7YW Prussians :)

John
