Dear Gentlemen

I collect K&C NAPs & AWI ... so far I am a K&C purist, except for the recent Patriot NAPs too.

I realise that NAP & AWI dios would reasonably involve multiple figures in a same pose ... but the most number that I have purchased was 3 of the Imperial Guard advancing. Others include a couple of standing firing & kneeling firing.

I would actually like to buy more of such poses ... but would like a little difference in these figures. The retired 71st standing ready to repel with and without the cap ...or the kneeling to repel & wounded kneeling to repel are good examples.

The incremental cost of producing such figures will be much smaller than producing a completely fresh figure. I don't mean to teach Andy how to do his business. I am merely expressing what I would like as a collector.

The Charging Cuirassier with sword forward .. is such iconic pose and I would love to buy multiples, if say the angle of the raised sword arm was varied ? or the horse gallop varied ?

Having varied figures does not merely add to sales by that varied figure .. I would end up buying more of the original template ... just because the enlarged firing line would not look so stiff because of subtle variances in one or two figs.

What do fellow members think?
What favourite figure would you like to have a variation .. so you will buy more.

I must qualify that it would not likely apply to WWII action poses, unless marching figs.

I agree !

I felt that the poses of the British 71st were great to make a complete diorama with. The Highlendaers too have some good figures attacking with Rifles and Pike to show action in a square or line.

The french could use a little more action in a square format or line format. My belife has always been you need action, wounded and dead figures to complete a good scene. Andy has done alot of that with the new Napoleonic French :D

I know its hard for K&C to do dead figures (because they dont sell well) - bit, when you get some they make the diorama come to life.

Overall - We have been lucky with the French for dead and wounded - now just need some Brits to meet the same fate  - My French Heavy Calvary needs some victims ;)

Hopefully - Andy will keep doing these figueres - they really are great for our collections.

I agree with you 100% about the varied poses. To many of the same exact poses makes a diorama look bad. Thats one of the reasons I started to convert my own figures!!! To avoid the attack of the clones look.

What if Andy put out a line of unassembled, unpainted castings? Would that satisfy the multi-pose crowd? Michael

I would love that but I really doubt Andy would ever do something like that.

The solution is to keep up what he is doing with most of his lines now. We have seen in the 71st British and French he is mixing it up a bit. More dead and wounded figures are needed with the new Coldstream Guards and Highlanders. Improvements and new release is all that is needed - not new production lines.

Interestigly guys the new DDAY singles have caused a flurry of multiply buying with action WWII figures.

The new German singles have always been popular as well
