C47 restored for Display (1 Viewer)

As aircraft are being posted at the moment I though someone might be interested in a WW2 C47 rescued and restored to Static display in Perth WA in approx 1988/99...cant remember the date....I was a member of a very short of funds mob who managed to get to enough money together to be able to obtain a much loved "DAK"....we also managed to obtain a Dc3......unfortunately our little church poor mob went broke...but we did manage to save two very wonderful aircraft from the scrapyard and eventfully find homes for them......more photo aval if anyone is interested....TomB

Error on photo of RAAF para....the date should read 1959 not 1969.......Caribou's and C130's were the vogue in 1969.......the C47's in Museums or flying with Private Charter Companies around the world.....TomB
