Cafe Storme Baodouin and Fabiola (1 Viewer)

As I have two Baodouin figures, I decided to improve on one of them. The pose looks awkward, leaning to one side. I removed and rearranged the head, filed down the coat sleeves and carved new folds, added height to the figure and am now resculpting the trousers.

I trimmed the height a little and more sculpting was done on the trousers. I will widen the sash.

Hello Mirof,

Thanks for that link! Great ref for painting Fabiola's dress and shawl. I have a couple of books on Royalty and Orders and decorations for Baudouin's costume. W
I widened the sash for Baudouin and will add a bow from Historex later.

I have removed Fabiolas' plastic base and drilled/inserted brass attachments to both figures. I made a new base for both of them.

A suitable Historex bow sash was added to the Baudouin figure.

I finished painting King Baudouin. I also created a display base for the couple.

I finished painting Fabiola last night and mounted both figures onto the base. I sanded the base lightly and recoated it in black paint and added white lettering. It's all about the base, no triple, just a pair...
