Made and painted this Larney French Napoleonic ambulance
Not real a model builder so reasonably happy with this effort.

Very nice set that you have assembled and painted.

I'd love to get this one, it's on my 'wish list' but very hard to find these days.

I have done most of the sets now, so check these out ....

And then there are all the individual Hinchliffe Guns and other equipment that I have.

Well done,
John

I have just realised after having another viewing of your work that haven't got the colour right for the uniforms on the drivers.

The coats were a blue/grey and has brown facings, not red.

I have painted a set of those figures that are resin masters that John Jenkins kindly gave to me a few years back before he released his metal figures.

You can see what I mean here:

These are John's painting of those figures.

I hope that helps you.

Hi John,
So as to complete the whole series made by Hinchliffe/Caldercraft you are just missing this guy....and sometime in 2023 it will be heading your way....:salute:::salute::
It will then be paired with the two pieces that you assembled some years ago...and with that we will have a three piece operational battery in place....
It is so unfortunate that these highly details sets no longer exist...even the smaller sets made by them although 30/40 years ago are much more detailed and accurate to most of the items being offered today....

WOW, that looks like a lot of horses there, but I'm sure that they would be needed to drag that BIG gun and limber over the rough tracks on the Eastern Front is WW2.

It will sure keep me busy over a few months I'd suggest !!!

I've just had a look at the Calder Craft catalogue,

caldercraft kits.jpg

and so when I've assembled and painted your German 150mm gun team Luiz, I'll only have the Larrey Ambulance to do that I would have done them all :) :)

Can anyone who sees that ambulance for sale let me know ????

I've also finished painting my set, and like you, most proud of my effort

Not gloss, but an excellent paint job - very well done (as usual).
Thank you for sharing.

Hi John,

I’ve nvr completed my Historex Larry wagon so loved to see this and Hinchcliffe as well!!!!

I bought a Hinchcliffe German 150mm kit from a HK seller, took one look at the complexity of the kit and put it back in the box, still pondering.. hahaha. I’m amazed that y have the ability and ingenuity to put together such a complex towed artillery piece.

Rgds Victor.
