I have just recently begun collecting Beau Geste figures. I am currently collecting WWI Colonials and plan to add examples from the Boxer-Rebellion, the Russo-Japanese War and the French Foreign as well. I am curious to know who else on the forum is collecting Beau Geste and what subjects they are focusing on? [Pat I know you are a collector] I would love to see photos of members' sets and collections, in dioramas or alone.

Randy,

I don't collect gloss figures, but I am looking forward to seeing more photos of your Beau Geste collection. The paintwork on these are superb, the colours deep and glossy, also the subject matter is to be commended.

Regards

Jeff

Hi Randy,

:D:D:D Yes, Randy, I collect Beau Geste figures and I find them to be exceedingly exciting. In my opinion, they are among the finest glossy figures produced today. In addition, I have the greatest respect for Ana and her family as they are extremely talented, most gracious, and wonderfully playful.

Also, as you know, I focus on the BG Delhi Durbar line. However, I do own a few other sets of BG figures, including some of the bands from other lines.

Like yourself, I would enjoy viewing the BG sets and collections possessed by other TF members. It would be both fun and exciting to see a Beau Geste parade of figures and sets on the forum. I hope others will comply with your request.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)

Pat,

Any chance of a photo or 20? :D

Regards

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Yes, of course there is a chance of some photos. However, I should tell you that I have not photographed all of my Beau Geste sets. Also, I think you know I am not the world's greatest photographer, but I will see what I can do for you. Give me a few days and I will post a few pictures for you.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)

The photos of your toy soldiers are always a joy to look at and learn from. I like the fact that you give us multiple points of view.

Randy

I'd have to agree with Randy there Pat. Your pics are always a delight to view and I have never noticed any bad photo skills.

Hi Guys,

I know I keep telling Pat the same thing he takes great photos, of course its hard not too when he has so many wonderful sets in his collection.

I also collect the BG Durbar sets I have a few but I think they are just amazing in detail.

All the best

Dave

Beau Geste sets look excellent, but I have none, they are just too expensive to collect from across the Atlantic, with customs and all:(. Can't seem to find a good Beau Geste dealer in Europe.
