For those of you that live in the Chicago area, a small show is being held at the Cantiny Museum in West Chicago Ill. Nick Albanese runs the show who also produces his own line of soldiers. A contact number for the show is Nick at 1-920 261-1323.
The show features about 30 vendors, a LARGE museum, re-enactors, and about 15 WWI and WWII tanks and vehicles that the kids can play on. It is an all day experience for the entire family including kids and wives. Thirty acres of natural and exotic gardens, ponds and walks for entertainment.
Over on the Toysoldiersgallery forum there is a large assortment of pictures of last years show. About 75 pictures or so. If you live in the area, check it out. They open at 10 to the public and parking is the only charge.

Here is an example of Nicks work. He has about 200 figures to pick from.

Here is another picture posted by Pinky of Nick's toy soldiers. You must admit that they have a certain charm about them.

With a few exceptions all the displays are life size. There is a full size D day landing beach with a landing craft included. Definitely bigger than the Figarti landing craft. You will spend 2 to 3 hrs. in the full size landscapes unless you opt out to play outside on or with the tanks. Even the weather is supposed to cooperate.

This musuem is a must see, the displays are lifesize, you walk through a World War I trench, the Battle of the Bulge, the Normandy Landing, Basic Training, A check point in Berlin, a Jungle in Viet Nam and then you have the tank park and much more than I have mentioned.

If you ever come to the OTSN, Cantigny is well worth a visit.
