My father collected W Britain and knights. He picked these up at Hamley's in London in 1996 and paid about $100 for them. They appear to be the same 1/32nd size. They have a stamp in the box that states they aren't suitable for children as they have lead in them. The box color is the same as the Britain's collectables, but it doesn't state any where that they are Britains. Can you help?

I suspect that they go back to King-White. If I'm not mistaken, "Elite Forces" was another incarnation of KW figures. Tom D may reply before I can get home and check my catalogs, but the style of the figures is what makes me think that that's what they are.

Prost!

As for connections to Britains, I believe that Reeves International was a Britains vendor for a time and sold Britains products in their catalogs.

Sorry to be a bit late on this one - missed it .

I'm not sure who owned the Company - but have seen "Elite Forces" Toy Knights before. I have seen two sets in boxes of six - but these were numbered E35 for English Knights - and E36 for French Knights - in similar cloured boxes as yours.

Yours looks to be a combined set - with three British, and three French participants at the Battle of Crecy (1346). The placing of the knights in the pic is incorrect for the labels in your picture.

I imagine this set could possibly have been made up into a box of six - and the peel off labels positioned after the purchaser had chosen his six choices.

It isn't that hard to identify the knights and put them in the correct slots - so won't spoil your fun by identifying who's who - unless you get stuck.^&grin

Here's a clue - just bung in each of the names on the labels to Google - and see what images come up.:D

Hope that helps a bit - jb
