Canada suspends all shipments from the United States............. (1 Viewer)

Had a buyer from Canada try to purchase something from me through the Global Shipping Program, he was informed that "Ebay cannot ship the item to Canada"..............that's weird, Canada is not on the list of countries Ebay does not ship to.

Called Ebay and was told "Canada has informed USPS that they have suspended all shipments to Canada from the United States indefinitely"....................hmmm, ok then.

COVID strikes again; going to cost businesses in Canada millions in lost sales.

Don't worry, once the US gets their **** together over COVID, that restriction will be lifted.

So I figure at some point in the Fall of 2021 we'll be good......................

only seeing where you're saying they only refuse to accept parcels...

seems like this will cost business to other countries...

Right, but they import goods from the US, a lot of companies send shipments of goods TO Canada as well.

Good for them, I wouldn't accept packages from the US either..................it's going from bad to worse here, another lock down is coming, I've already stocked up, have enough food to last me a month if need be........AND toilet paper.

Probably the same reason the Canadians wouldn’t let the Jays play in Toronto. We are now viewed with pity worldwide.

Very wise George, was watching news from China where with widespread flooding and Dam's bursting in agricultural areas could be a shortage in certain foods later in year / next year and no doubt prices going up in our grocery stores. Could do with some good news for a change. It's all getting very depressing !
