Canceled Stadden QOH Painting (1 Viewer)

Yo Troopers, got the QOH Stadden model today and as you can see by the original the painting was awful. Anyway three hours later you can see how they were issued as Hallmarked pewter models as giftware under the brand name of Buckingham pewter, but made at the Stadden Factory. Decided not to get it painted as trooper pointed out its a 3rd Kings Light Dragoon 1860 before they became Hussars then in 1958 the QOH with the 7th Hussars. So it would have to be painted the same as the original I have which seems silly to have two painted the same, but delighted with the QOH badge on the front and crest on the back its really well done. Tried to show the hallmarks underneath the base.

Btw, I see my tips on using petrol and a flaming wire brush worked to remove the paint .....how are your eyebrows?

lol, its funny you should say that, when I did the first stripping, washed it off under the tap and went to pull the rubber glove off my left hand, because I felt my fingers getting hot, and the four fingers came off the glove lol. THOUGHT hope my F###### fingers are not in the part I just pulled off lmao, boy its strong stuff that Nitromors, lucky they were still on my hand (serious)

Yes, Bernard, mei liaba Husar, they cleaned up nicely, well done! I think they look fantastic as pewter figurines.
