Just a line to introduce myself. My name is Greg Blake the chief cook and bottle washer for Cannon Fodder Miniatures. I am based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia and am a good friend of Craig Pearse of Wilson Edward Toy Soldiers. Cannon Fodder is a hobby business I have been working at for about ten years now. I have until recently concentrated on smaller scale figures 15mm and 28mm for wargamers, you can visit my website at www.canfodmins.com. I have, however, always been a modeller at heart. I have made a few of the 54mm masters for Wlison Edward, their Ned Kelly advancing with two pistols, Kelly era Victorian Policeman, Australian WW2 Kokoda Track figures, Japanese WW2 pilot, soldier and Naval Officer, and modern SWAT policeman are all my work. I have in the last few months finally got about to getting underway a line of 54mm figures of my own. The first four -the work of Alan Caton- are two Ancient Briton warriors, one Roman Legionarie and a Roman Auxiliary. I have also begun a line of ACW figures scuplted by myself based on soldiers of the trans-mississippi western theatre, being inspired to do so by a trip to Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee in 2005. The first of these figures depicts a soldier of the Arkansas Mounted Rifles ca.1861. I am currently working on a master for an 1861 Missouri Home Guard soldier. Photos of my figures are below. These are all currently available but only in unpainted kit form at the moment (the Arkansas fellow is a single piece casting). Each kit is AUD$20.00 plus postage. I can take Visa or MC or Paypal.
