I've been saving softcopies of the Collector and the Leaflets on the King & Country website, but WS69-71 seems to be missing. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I don't think WS69 was ever made or it may have been a prototype or something. I think I have some that show the Winter tiger but don't actually profile it.

Don't know for certain, but would these have had leaflets, as all 3 are limited edition pieces?

Whoops!! That's right WS69 was that SL Stug.

I think Wraith is correct- I thumbed through a selection of my dispatches and Collectors and didn't see anything, though I thoght I saw the Tiger prowlin around in one of em.

I think you are correct the WS069 LIMITED EDITION STUG IV. I THINK ONLY 500 WERE MADE. But don't hold me to this 500 number.

I'm pretty sure you're right Chuck,

WS069 - Stug - 500
WS070 - Winter Tiger - 999
WS 071 - King Tiger - 700

WS071 was a SL edition?? Man, that is REALLY cool- I picked that up for $115earlier this year- it was my "welcome back to the hobby" gift to myself.

SWEET!!
Wraith- you are the man, love getting news like that ;)

That seems like a good deal you had there!

Of the 3, I believe only the Winter Tiger was designated as an SL, the other 2 were limited to 500 (69) and 700 (71).

I'm guessing that the idea behind the SL sets, is that you get a limited run with more figures accompanying the vehicle (5+) - certainly seems that way from recent sets.

69 and 70 were strictly limited. 71 was not and is in the same category as FoB 10, reissues of 67 and FoB 09, respectively. 71 and FoB 010 were made in limited quantities but they were not limited editions. If you do a search, the issue was hotly debated way back when.

I don't know why these three pieces wouldn't be on a leaflet or catalog just because of their being limited or SL.

Hard to say why but maybe he didn't feel the need since he knew they would move quickly and thus the brochures would be out of date almost as soon as it was printed.
