Capt of the Clouds....James Cagney and Allan Hale.....good old bulldust propaganda war movie with Jame's making an AO of himself at a RCAF flying school.....old movie but as an aircraft bull I enjoyed the scenes from the REAL...RCAF flying school..Avo Ansons..a useless Fairy Fulmar,,Steadmans..being a Canadian flying school ...Steadmans would have been easily available..a couple of Vultee like T6's and the real Hudson Bomber...not the later Hudson Vultee's....good old movie and great for watching the real aircraft flying....even had a Hurri painted as a Me109.....aslo watched...Capicorn One....great story and the fantastic climax of the aerial chase with the Steadman and the helicopters,,,,must have watched that chase a 1ooo times on the old VHF tape.....two good movies...TomB

Always liked this movie for all the aforementioned reasons but my favorite part was getting to see a genuine flying hero/ace from WW1 when Billy Bishop made his appearence in the movie. Even liked his speech. A real live WW1 ace on film that isn't from the war is as rare as hen's teeth. -- Al

Billy Bishop...at first I thought he was an actor....then I read the credits .....I was very surprised.....that was the only bit of the movie that was not bulldust...cheers TomB
