Saw this on Hobby Bunker. Does anyone know anything about it? Regards, Larry.

Larry,

Take a look at the Wake Island and West Coaster threads in the Figarti section.

Are there any plans to manufacture items to support the new Wildcat, ground-crew figures and such?

no plans right now. For the most part the crews scrambled to take parts off destroyed aircraft to get a couple of the others up in the air. They also spent a lot of time concealing them and moving them at night

Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

Here is some artwork covering the Wake Island battle and of course the Wildcat. The painting & lithograph release is titled "The Magnificent Fight" by John Shaw. Please enjoy the history!

"John Shaw's tribute to the defenders of strategically located Wake Island. The Island was defended by a handful of brave Americans against terrible odds in December 1941. This courageous group held their own, isolated and alone, on land and in the air for weeks against the Imperial Japanese Navy."

Check Six,
Marc
