Is anyone watching this 10 part PBS series? I especially enjoyed episode 2 "Controlled Chaos." My brother-in-law was member of the deck launch crew for F4 Phantoms on the U.S.S. America in the 1970s so it was interesting to see how things are done now on the Nimitz.

What do others think about the series?

Yes, my wife and I watched the episode you mentioned last night and really enjoyed it. It got the thumbs up and is being Tivo'ed so we can watch the whole series eventually. There was another 2 hour program on after it called Warplane that I caught in bits and pieces that looked great too.

I,ve been watching the series also. Great to watch in HD.
It really brings to mind how young these service people are.

I have watched a few episodes and found it quite enjoyable. However one of the comments made by a crew member ruffled my feathers.

I have seen a few episodes myself, and the carrier is like a floating town that even has an airport:D:D:D.

This series was a real unexpected gem. Very well produced with a great soundtrack and found it very engrossing. We couldn't wait to get through it and were a little bummed out once it finished. Pretty fascinating the cross section of folks that volunteer for military service.

It is really cool, I can't find it at regular time.......I'm sure its my fault. However I keep finding it late in the evening, and usually several episodes are on back to back. Nothing like a mini marathon to get you interested!
