Dear Collectors,

I am excited to announce that I will be holding my first "Toy Soldier Auction" this coming fall. The exact dates are not firm, but most likely it will be in October or November. Here is a link to the auction page on my web site:

I have posted a handful of items that will be part of that auction. Over the next few weeks I will be adding more lots. Each lot has multiple pictures showing various poses of the toy soldiers being offered. The emphasis of this auction will be King & Country releases from the 1990s through the early 2000s. I will also be offering lots that include soldiers produced by Trophy, Somerset Ltd., Frontline, and more. I am hopeful for a 150-200 lot auction.

There will be very reasonable reserves and bidding increments, so great buys are possible. As this will be a rolling preview, please check back on the site to view new items that have been added. I will periodically bump this thread when updates have been made.

I am looking for consignments and have received a few already. If you have any items you might want to consign, please feel free to call me to discuss. My contact information is on my web site. Please take a moment and register on my site for this and all future auctions. Some of you may already know me from EBay - champsandbums. My contact information can also be obtained from my EBay store home page.

Just quick note about my web site (champsandbums.com): I specialize is sports and non-sports cards of the 19th century up through 1960s. My EBay store on the web site predominately has those card offerings (There are military cards from the 19th century produced by tobacco companies and some 20th century gum card issues). There is also a small toy soldier section. The site is a work in progress and auction details will be added and corrections will be made over the next few weeks, so please be patient. If you have any questions, please feel free to write me peter@champsandbums.com

I look forward to hearing from you.
