I am pleased to announce that my Winter 2013 Auction will open November 10, 2013. The auction will close on December 1, 2013. This auction will run on my website - champsandbums.com. At the present time there are 15 lots available for previewing. Most of the lots are King & Country and Trophy issues. I am hoping to have about 50 lots in my toy soldiers section. I also sell sports & non-sports cards (bubble/tobacco cards) from the 1880s-1970s. The majority of the auction will be in those associated categories.

I hope you take the time to look at my offerings over the coming weeks and register to bid. You have to be a registered bidder to participate. I will be updating this thread as more listings come online (I will be bumping this thread).

Hi Peter,

I look forward to the auction! Keep up he good work and will be contacting you soon.

John

I have added another dozen lots to my Winter 2013 Auction. I hope everyone views the preview and takes the time to register for the auction. The registration process is fairly easy and can be done by following the menu bar prompt at the top of each web page. Most of the lots have multiple images (nice quality) & have some type of general description.

When I started this thread, I was hoping to register about 15/20 bidders from the treefrog community by Nov. 10th. As of this morning, I have added 10 new bidders - THANK YOU!

The toy soldier part of my auction is already up to 43 lots as of this morning. Here is a link to the preview: Champs & Bums Winter 2013 Auction

Here are some new King & Country from "The West" range (1 Wm. Hocker lot) lots that I added last night:

I hope everyone enjoys the preview!

I have just finished updating my auction and now have 50 lots of toy soldiers. I have added some nice Trophy sets & a couple of early King & Country D-Day sets. Although not pictures, I also added a King & Country U.S. Marines set. All of the sets that I added are from the 1990s. Please take the time to preview the lots that I have. There will be more - I am waiting on some TEDTOY sets and hope to have a few more sets by Trophy Miniatures.

If you would like to participate, you'll need to be a registered bidder. I do ship world wide (at cost). I want to thank everyone who has already registered. To register, just follow the link below to the auction preview, you will see a register button on the menu bar.

Updated the auction today and I now have 61 lots of toy soldiers in my auction. What I thought was going to be a 50 lot offering in the toy soldier section, should now reach at least 75 lots.

I want to thank everyone who has registered - I have added over 40 bidders in the past 2 weeks. Thank You!

I have updated my auction listing with some new lots. I hope everyone takes a look. I now have over 70 lots of toy soldiers that will be part of the auction. I would like to think that the opening bids are very reasonable and should attract bidding activity (There are NO RESERVES, just an opening bid).

If you like what you see - please take a moment and register.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have finalized my auction. There are over 70 lots of Toy Soldiers up for bidding. Most of the lots have multiple images. Please take a moment to preview the auction - with all the available images, you'll more than likely enjoy the viewing process. Bidding opens this coming Sunday.

Just an update regarding my auction - there are ten days left to closing night. Although the auction is going well (I mainly sell bubble gum & tobacco cards and those lots are strong), the toy soldier section of the auction is going slowly. Numerous lots have either no bids or one bid at this time. Either my starting bids are to high or everyone is waiting to the last day to bid. I hope the latter. It is not to late to register and bid. You can register up until the day before the close of the auction and initials bids can be made up to the early part of the closing night. To fully participate on closing night, you must have bid on any lots that you are interested by 10:00 PM EST (Dec. 1st).

Please remember, I do ship internationally at cost.

If you have not registered, take a moment to view the auction. I am sure that there will be some great deals. Even if you decide not to bid in the auction, you'll be on my mailing list and will get sales opportunities available to registered users on my website.

Actually, if you look at the rules posted at the beginning of this section of the Forum, you will not be able to do that and I believe this thread may be deleted soon.

I just spoke to Serge and due to some problems with customs fat fingers, some of the items that were sent to him were damaged. Not the first time that this has happened and unfortunately, not the last time. One of the pitfalls of shipping internationally.

The no return rule in my auction is more for the cards, and most certainly does not apply to damaged goods.

I will like to thank everyone who participated in the auction!

Peter
