Hi
as promised - 1st lot of Armies in Plastic Crimean War British Cavalry depicted from the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade

watch this space - 11th Hussars and 13th Light Dragoons top follow

I have added sturdier plastic Timpo lances to these Lancers complete with paper lance-pennons - they look quite striking - perhaps I should paint another set or how about a full regiment??

Hope you will enjoy the pics via Photobucket - feel free to post them directly on treefrog if it helps other visitors to the site

Regards,
Dave

9th Hussar,

Really nice! Thanks for posting these. I've always thought this unit looked "cool".

Hi Scott
glad you like em

next on the agenda is the 16th Lancers in their red coats and white helmet covers in India 1846

You also have so other cool items there, I just bid on one. How does the size of the Napoleonics fit with K&C?

Hi Bernard

9thHussar is a reference to the French Napoleonic 9th Hussars - I painted a large amount just prior to joinging the forum

No hussars in my family - just Infantry, Engineers and Artllerymen

Hi Spitfrnd

depends on the make - ACTA Dragoons are listed as 1/32nd - there is some scale variery between the plastic makers - I dont have any metal figures to compare with - I keep to plastic as the postage is less due to the lighter weights involved.

Dave
