Yo Troopers, got a nice surprise today. Put a silly bid in at one of the UK auctions two weeks back for this large Double Mounted model shown on right of "Soldat Premier Regiment de Cuirassier-1815 + Voltigeur 45 de Ligne-1815. Forgot all about it not hearing from the Auction room, and today the invoice arrives to say I had won the model;) What also was very pleasing it is in its original box, this will be the first time I have seen one of these large Mounted figues in its box. Took the photo out of the Catalogue until it arrives. As you can see Chas also did the model without the Voltiguer.
So the motto "Who Dares Wins" applies today:D. Dont no much about Naps, so if any of you guys wants to fill me on on these Regiments be my guest.
Bernard.

Well Bernard, as you have made your views on horses with bases or plates quite well known in the past, this is obviously not for you. You still have my address don't you?

Hee Hee......:D:D:D

No really, this has got to be the best one yet.

Yo Jeff, did I really say that about Horses on plates my memory is terrible:rolleyes: Its a pity I got rid of your address when you gave up painting;) But if I did say that about Horses & plates think I was referring to those little things I used to collect lol (DOH) Which reminds me got to start selling them off even the Balaklava & Light Brigade set up:eek: might be moving in the near future to a Bungalow. Cannot keep everything The Chas Staddens have took over the house.
