I am cleaning out my attic and I came across a small collection of Cherilea metal soldiers. Please forgive my ignorance since I am not a collector, but I have no idea as to the value of these. They were purchased back in the mid 1950's. The ones that are intact are 4 black lancers with movable arms on black horses, and 3 bearskin capped guards on white horses. They have been wrapped in tissue for the last 60 years, so they are in fairly good shape. I have 2 more guards and one more lancer, but unfortunately the legs are broken. Any information on how valuable these might be would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Doug, welcome to the forum!

If you could post some pictures, it would help the Cherilea fans help you. I'm sure we've got at least one or two collectors who will be able.

Prost!

Thanks, that's a good start. Would you be able to take photos of all of them and post them? It is hard to evaluate objects without seeing them.

Prost!
