Well I must say the Easy 8 looks good here and news of an Olive drab version next year, that'll be welcome. And I'm also liking the new Bulge figures too{bravo}}

Rob

Good to know there will be a de-iced Easy 8. The track/wheel detail on the new Tigers is much improved over the Kursk version.

Have the Royal Marine band shown with the collectors club figures been released, or is that possibly something coming down the pipe?

Also on the TX show page- does anyone know if the WW2 era color guard and French figure (far left) are K&C or are they another maker? I'd love to try and track them down.

Thanks,
Allen

Hello, on the King's X section of the collector who is the maker of the Pharoh Egyption figure
on the lower right side? just wondering any help thank's

Neil

Hey Neil

If memory serves, that was a St. Pete piece- if not them then Grenada- it's a Russian piece

Is it just me or did anyone not see that impressive Imperial Chinese bamboo fort on the back cover??? WOWOWOW!

Yeah, that Chinese bamboo fort transcends my needs. I have no idea what I would do with it, but I want it!

Yes, I would just need to figure out which soldiers to fill it with. Either way it is really cool.

Re PS: My mistake on the bamboo. Worse yet, my wife says that picture reminds her of one of the Four Seasons that we have stayed at. If that isn't a hint.........

Your best bet would be the Imperil Chinese, or even the Romans from the LoJ series. Perhaps with a bit of broader imagination, part of the stockade could even fit into an Eastern Front scenario. {sm3}

I would not hesitate to recommend the new 3 Kingdoms range, as you will be able to get all it's releases still. It's colorful, well sculpted and looks to be a growing line ... and yet offers a "paced" 2 or 3 new offerings each time. So you can slowly build your Grand Army. {sm4}

OD-

Thanks for the tips. I have almost all of K&C's original Romans, do you think they could be used with this?

I think it could work in a pinch- probably wouldnt be my choice but I think you could pull it off. I also think some savvy collectors could possibly use some of the segments as deserted village backdrops for a Nam display.

Chris:

'Nam was my other choice. With of course, my fingers crossed that K&C revisit 'Nam again soon!
