I learned today the show at the Hyatt has been canceled. This devastating. I look forward to this show all tear long. It may be gone forever. What a shame!

I doubt it.

From the email the promoters sent, it seems pretty cut-and-dried. The Hyatt gave them a hard time, and it's pretty much too late to find another venue, of similar size and scope to stage the show, at this time. For a show like this, the promoters usually have the contracts squared away within a month or two of the current year's event. Sometimes even a year in advance. We negotiate our contract for the MFCA show, at the current show, and usually close on it within a couple of weeks.

I have no doubt that they'll find another location and lock it in for 2024.
