The last pandemia was the universaly called Spanish Flu
Remember it's not in days but in years : 3 years, 17 million deaths
So the name is not important . What is then ?
For once the despotic communist leadership, being what it is : despotic, decided to stop all activities in Whuan not caring about local yes/no/perhaps but triyng to stop the expansion by locking the region . ( Even if such a decision hurt my european sense of freedom )
From the very beginning, facing such a threat, the good responsible decision would have been to stop all travelling to China; In Out, planes, boats, cars, trains, no repatriation, no goods coming from ( I know, we live in a period when you have to please the quasi divine share holders ) etc ...
The time response to the threat was far to long in the hands of our frisky leaders ... IMHO
And what I read on the link you gave will not help ( Goebels and Stalin were writing thinks like that ). Just let all of us put effort in finding the way to stop and eradicate this pandemia and ways to avoid the next one .
