Hello!
The W.Britain Chosen Ground base is 24" wide and 18" deep and is made exclusively for them by Hudson & Allen Studio. It features our resilient 'Wild Grass' allowing you to set figures up in any number of configurations.
It has a simple molded decorative base with a slot at the rear to accept the removable back drop.
This backdrop was created with permission from the artist to give a realistic impression of his original painting when all of the figures are in place.
The backdrop is on archival foambord and is printed with the same pigmented inks as giclee prints.
Here is one in our parlor...
I have used this for several ACW set ups with good effect. All figures and scenic accessories are from W. Britain.
I am sure that these are offered through the fine folks at Treefrog Treasures, as well as other W. Britain dealers.
