Hi all
Well Johnnybach asked me if I paint 54mm figures. and thois is the complete answer:
It had been quite some years since I didn't try to paint (again) a 54mm. I finally managed to finish this one.
I loved the old schood modelling (Late Sid Norton I think) and the Imperial pose of the fella. Most of the painting had been done some months back, but I didn't actually finish the painitng and basing of the figure. Last week I had to finish it for a show with my modelling club so I was forced to deal with it yes or yes.. In order to enhace the figure itself I wanted to be as minimalistic as possible with staging, so I just added a chair and the figure whent straight into a very dark brown glossy wooden base. I think it's an acceptable atempt at this scale, and maybe I'll give a try on another 54mm figure, well..some day...
I Hope you like it,
