Looks like some good movies for us to choose from in the next month.

Boxing day releases down under include The Hobbit, The Water Diviner and Night at the Museum. St Vincent also looks interesting with Bill Murray.

I think Hobbit going to be my first choice and will be a family visit. Will be interesting to see how the Water Diviner does overseas and I hope it does well as looks good.

However the one I am looking forward to the most is American Sniper but not starting in Australia until 22 JAN.{sm2}

I misunderstood your thread. Your title suggests you're talking about Christmas-themed movies or movies associated with Christmas, not movies being released at this time. My favorites are "Scrooge", with Alastair Sim, "It's a Wonderful Life" (not originally a Christmas movie, but now associated with the holiday) and "A Christmas Story", a little sleeper, when it was first released, but thanks to TBS' annual marathon showing, it's almost replaced the flaming log that some stations used to show.

Prost Weihnachten!

Brad,
You are right about my title being misleading. However I started that thread last year !{sm4}.
So off topic I am a sucker for Love Actually !
