All,

Before the month of July ends I am feeling a little giving this summer. So, I am giving away some odds and ends from my little ole collection for FREE. This is my first annual "Christmas in July from John in Texas" Yup, I will wrap them up for you and ship them to you and all you have to do is pay shipping. Shipping will be on a case by case basis, but CONUS should not be over $10 bucks.

Here are the first FREE K&C soldiers that I am going to give away.

I have six of these guys and they are FREE to first come first serve. They are FREE "as is" and there are no refunds on FREE and no returns on FREE. FREE means FREE folks. I believe every once in a while that that good will should be extended and sometimes everything is not always about the money. So, I will post more odds and ends mañana and maybe you will find that special thing you have been looking for.

You can email me at hotel3alpha@gmail.com if you are interested.

Ho, Ho, Schmo!

Gents,

St. John has just given away all of the vintage K&C early 1980's carrying Seaforths. There were two East Coasters who were not naughty this summer; one from New York and another from Mass a chew sets who will be receiving their presents this July Christmas. Up next, Jolly John has a few empty boxes with no foam and here are the pics:

I would "flatten" the boxes out but there is one seam on the whole box that is glued. Therefore, the box has to sent in a box (no pun intended). Shipping on these should not be no more than $5 bucks. Again, they are FREE.

Email me at hotel3alpha@gmail.com if you are interested. I will post more when my elves bring me more stuff.

What a generous thing to do^&cool This forum and it's members never cease to amaze me, I have had so many kind and thoughtful gestures from members over the years I've lost count. These people are not fellow collectors but friends.:smile2:

Gents,

Pecan Nuts roasting on an open BBQ Mesquite fire...
Sunshine stinging you untanned back...
Cowboy songs sung by the drunks at bar
and folks dressed up to the nines
Everybody knows a brisket and some roasted corn
Tums make the season more bright
Tequila shots make Mike Miller eyes glow
Who will sleep hard tonight

They know St. John from Texas is on the Way
He cleaning out his "contraband" shop
and his wife is gonna spy
To see if the bank is really high

So I'm offering this simple drawl
To collectors 30 to 92
Although its been said many times, many ways

Merry Christmas to tu
Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas to jyuo

This is a early 2000 empty Sherman box and the story is that it goes with some very rare tank (10 or so were made), but the guy who sold the tank could not find the box at the time of sale. The buyer is in France with the tank unboxed. The box is FREE you pay shipping

Afghan warrior, vintage 1980's.

Shipping on the above will be no more than 10 bucks. Who has been good? I gotta go to the post office and who ever emails me at hotel3alpha@gmail.com gets them first.

Brad,

It's Christmas in July, Would you like the figure?

Have you been nice?

John from Texas

If the K&C box is for the "winter sherman" I would love it....I have the tank but no box. I also believe only 10 were made.
Thank you

Ho, Ho, Ho,

The box indeed has "W-Sherman" written on the side of it and if my memory serves me correct THIS is your box. Have you been nice this year?

The Christmas Song is one of my all time favorites.

Let's try to keep it that way................wow...........{eek3}

Hi Warrior,

Let's not and my rendition stays. I knew someone would try go Grinch on me or Scrooge-out the spirit of my "Christmas in July" thread. But have no fear Warrior I am still in a giving mood this July and still love ya. So, go start your own bah-hum-bug thread somewhere else and leave this one alone.

On to presents delivered to your door that are free all you do is pay shipping!

I think the point George is trying to make is that if one wants to give stuff away or give a present, you don't make a fan fare about it or ask a person "have they been nice." You just do it.

Hey mate, if your handing out any K&C Tigers I have been good as gold all year!!!!...Sammy

Brad and George,

The both of you's can leave this Happy Christmas in July Thread alone and go start you own. Nobody picks apart the spirit of St. Nick or in this case Pancho Claus. I will not and shall not me moderated, coached, censored as to what or how I say something while I am in a giving mood. You no like it...you no read it. I could care less what you, George or anyone else thinks. This act of kindness make ME feel good and I will "do it" how I please. There is no fan fare...just a "Christmas in July Thread".

I am busy wrapping presents for now and will get back with more items later!

Sorry Sammy, my elves don't collect any Tanks at all. However, there may be another Jolly Collector out there one day who could hook you up.

Good Summer to you my friend,

John from Texas

Just for the record; nope, that was not what I meant.

At all.

If you want to give stuff away, good for you, have at it.

That's it, I'm out.
