Hi All,

I am curious to know if anyone else out there has what I refer too as Christmas Sets that are only displayed for the month of December? Here is some of what I display:

The Britains Holidays sets from the past few years. My favorite one is the Hussar cutting misletoe from the back of his mount.

I am also quite fond of my wifes holiday manger scene that is made of lead or pewter flats from Germany.

I also have a new set I am working on called Christmas in Khyber which keeps up with my Durbar theme.

So what say you?

All the best

Dave

Dave,

I have three "Christmas sets" that make an appearance during the holiday season. They are:

W. Britains:

Set #17442 -- Winter Offerings: 2002 Chistmas 500 Piece Limited Edition.
Set #17489 -- A Farewell to Rose: 2003 Christmas Stocking Holder.

King and Country:

Set #XM05_01: Christmas Santa: 600 Piece Strictly Limited Edition.

I am considering adding the new K&C "Christmas set" of Santa interacting with the young Napoleonic drummers. The set goes very well with my K&C Napoleonics!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

One of my favorite pieces of all time is the K&C Santa Jeep. It really captures the generosity of the American G.I.'s.

Don't consider the Drummer Boys set! Get them! They are worth every penny.
Best painting by K&C ever:)

Vamp,

Thanks for the feedback on the "Drummer Boys." Your feedback was just the tipping point I needed to encourage me to spend more of my dwindling bank account! :D

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Dave,

You're right! Whatever was I thinking? Who posted that note about Christmas sets anyway? :D

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)

Hi Pat,

Yes indeed you got me there!

Take care and have a great time hunting down more treasures. I am really looking forward to a comparison of the three series.

All the best

Dave
