We draw names in my family for the adults. For the kids I don't
like to get plastic toys that end up at a garage sale in a few months.
So I've been getting US Silver Dollars. I don't collect coins, except
for the ones I inherited. Some of the newer commeratives are quite
nice. I recommend only PF 70 Ultra Cameo [much nicer and increase
in value more]. The kids will probably like them better in twenty years.:)

U.S. Marines. Quite nice.

This year starts an annual tribute to the Armed Forces.
U.S. Army up first. Also a half dollar is available.

If military isn't your thing there is a wide variety from
Jamestown [one of the better ones] and others. Here's Lincoln.

There's WWII also, but a bit pricey now, but wasn't when
I got them. They all go up in value, but you have to sell
them to actually realize anything. LOL

Here's the WWII. I couldn't find an example yesterday.
